5lb 4oz rainbow trout for chistopher munro

SELMMUIR TROUT ...9yr old chistopher munro from livingston caught his first fish tonight flyfishing and what a fish to catch 5lb 4oz and then 5 minute later he caught a 2lb trout both on a black buzzer bought from the fishing cabin,this young man has only flyfished once before,am over the moon for him and he should get his first troutmasters badge for his fish

That's fantastic, just imagine the feeling that kid had when he hooked that fish. I watched a young guy catch his first fish on the fly at Newmills earlier this season and the look on his face was amazing. The more youngsters that can be encorouged to take up our sport the better and you can be sure that after catching two trout in 5 mins and one a 5lb'er he won't be looking back.
