If you have been on the site for a while then you will know that i am a new comer to river fishing, as i mainly fish stillwaters. But recently i have heard people talking about fishing the "BOAGBURN" where is it??
I have looked at the maps for the local area and cant find it anywhere, is it a local name for somewhere else or just a small stream that people fish.
If anybody could set me in the right direction then i would be greatfull as i am going to venture out more to try and catch some off the lovely looking brownies that are on this site.

Hi Sandmac. Best way to find it is to look at the map behind West Calder and from Cobbinshaw Reservoir the outlet from here is the bog burn. It joins the leny just above the bridge at Mid Calder.
Hope you find it ok

The Boag burn is another name for the murieston or the calder burn which joins the lnhouse not log before it joins the Almond.
